Marlon’s career in Health and Fitness coaching career spans over 25 years and includes a wealth of experience across the industry as an Instructor, Fitness Manager, Personal Trainer/Therapist and Lead Fitness Lecturer where he’s made a significant contribution in training Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers (including some of the existing Lab Pros) for the past 10 years.

His background originally in martial arts led him to the further study of Sports & Exercise Sciences, Massage Therapy and currently Neuroscience. He continues to utilise his training and development background to enhance the already highly experienced Fitness Team as well as further developing the fitness service across the Laboratory spa and health club.

Pana is passionate about helping clients transform how they look and feel, it gives her great joy to see her clients improve their lives through nutrition and exercise. She currently works with people of all ages, abilities and illnesses, from beginners to the more experienced. She has worked with people recovering from cancer and injuries, people with arthritis, MS, autism and Parkinson’s as well as those interested in general weight/fat loss, improving their fitness, strength and wellbeing.

She believes we are all unique and there is no “one size fits all” approach, “it is important to identify the client’s individual needs and design a program that is realistic, achievable and sustainable.” She enjoys seeing people succeed and achieve goals that they thought were never possible.

Gemma’s passion has always been in dance since she was 7 years old. She started training as a dancer in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and musical theatre, then followed her dreams at Elmhurst Ballet School where she achieved a national diploma in dance and advanced 2 RAD ballet. She then went on to dance professionally for 7 years travelling around the world mainly on cruise ships where she became dance captain and production manager.

When she moved to London, she found a new passion in the fitness industry and became a qualified personal trainer and class instructor. She has now been in the industry for 6 years and still performs and teachers Ballet at Pineapple. Gemma is also the Group Fitness Co-ordinator at The Laboratory Muswell Hill.

Her passions are to help her clients achieve their goals and to share her knowledge. To support her clients on their journey to achieving a better lifestyle and feel more energized, to promote exercise in a healthy way that can be enjoyable.

Matt has a grounded belief of combining strength and endurance throughout the body in order to achieve your body’s full output potential. His background in Ballet & Contemporary dance training gives him a unique style of coaching, making sure that you not only build strength, but you know how to use and access it when needed in day to day life.

Matt’s training incorporates a varied number of aspects all based around the values of functional fitness – making sure that you look and feel great as a result from all the hard work put in. Each approach is tailored to the needs of his clients and specialises in endurance sport coaching, body sculpting and weight loss.

After his recent completion of an MSc in Sport Rehabilitation at St. Mary’s University Twickenham, Matt is a passionate advocate for getting people back into exercise and sport after physical or emotional trauma and chronic diseases.

Maria is an experienced strength and conditioning coach with wide range of clients. This earned her recognition 2 years in a row from the National Strength and Conditioning Education Awards.
Her passion started when she was just a teenager, she saw the first Slovakian woman to win a Gold medal in Bodybuilding and place second as strongest women in the world title. This inspired her to start her journey to train with weights for performance and aesthetics.

Unfortunately, she had a big (bad) break of complications during her second childbirth which required a long recovery without exercise leaving her overweight, unhappy with the way she looked and self-conscious. She signed up for 12-week transformation challenge with Muscle and Fitness magazine and she won the competition. Then (2011) she realised the potential to help other women in the same situation and completed her first UK qualification for Weight lifting.

She wants to share her knowledge, skills and passion to improve the quality of life not just for new mums, peri and menopausal women but also for people recovering after cancer.

Maria’s passion comes from improving her client’s functional movement, mobility, strength and endurance. With her honest approach to health and fitness, high dose of motivation and providing tailored coaching she is helps her clients reach their goals, build self-confidence and overall well-being.

She often starts with Movement Assessments, finding about your exercise history and your why to keep you active and focused to change your lifestyle.

Dan is a Sport & Exercise Science graduate and has over 17 years fitness industry experience. Dan is a rehabilitation specialist working closely with our physiotherapist team, Osteopath’s and massage therapists. Bridging the gap between the treatment room and the gym, transforming remedial exercises into functional movements.

Examples of special populations he trains are; people with Motor Neurones Disease (MND), MS, Parkinson’s, 50+ & the elderly, Cancer patients, Knee replacement/reconstruction, Hip replacement & resurfacing, Osteo- Arthritis, Osteoporosis and post Spinal surgery.

Dan himself has recovered from an ACL knee reconstruction.

He believes everyone should have the freedom of choice to move functionally pain free and have an improved sense of well-being.

Tony works with a wide variety of clients to achieve weight loss, strength and sculpting goals however his main background and passion is in self-defence. He has over 19 years of padding and kicking experience through martial arts which are a great tool to elevate the heart rate and help lose that stubborn weight, body sculpting and building strength.

After a serious motorbike accident, he has also suffered with injuries. Pushing through two years of rehabilitation on his knee, he also works with clients recovering from injuries and help to build up strength physically and mentally.

Tony is passionate about helping his clients feel great within themselves and being the best they can be. Feeling great is not just physical, it’s mental as well. He works with clients to help reduce stress, improve nutrition and sleep to promote a healthy body.

Callie is a hard-working individual who has been passionate about sports and fitness for the majority of her life. Partaking in gymnastics and dance prior to weight training.

 

As your personal trainer she will bring lots of energy, expertise and enthusiasm to each session to help you achieve the goals you desire and feel confident in your own body. Callie has also furthered her studying to help understand the benefits exercise can have on certain medical conditions and your mental health via the Level 3 GP referral.

Zara comes from a competitive swimming background and is now a bikini bodybuilding athlete. This gives her an in-depth knowledge of how to achieve body transformations for her clients. Whether the goal is fat loss or gaining muscle her skill set allows her to achieve total body recomposition, whilst gaining strength and helping improve overall fitness levels. Having worked with clients with arthritis, MS and other injuries she is able to help you figure out a way to still work towards your goals.

As a mother, she knows the difficulty of balancing life and fitness. Her clients all have busy lives, so together she will help you come up with a strategy to ensure you prioritise your fitness goals.

Zara believes food is medicine and plays a key part in any goal the client has and so she will provide nutritional support to anyone that trains with her.
